Shannon Sharpe Reveals What Titans Need to Do With No. 1 Pick

The Tennessee Titans have the No. 1 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft and they currently hold the league in the palm of their hand. Nobody can say for sure what rookie general manager Mike Borgonzi will do in his first-ever draft because he has not tipped his hand at all.

While the team could certainly benefit from a rookie quarterback, many believe that the Titans are more than a quarterback away from turning around the franchise. It seems that the team is trending towards a player like Penn State edge rusher Abdul Carter or trading back from No. 1, but ESPN analyst and Hall of Fame player Shannon Sharpe thinks that the team should take a quarterback first overall.

Tennessee had Will Levis under center for the Titans in 2024 and it was a bit of a disastrous campaign for the second-year quarterback. Sharpe is not a fan of the Kentucky product and thinks that the team could benefit from an upgrade.

“The question is: Do you believe in Will Levis? And for me, he makes too many of the same mistakes,” Sharpe said. “I can live with mistakes, just don’t make the same mistake twice.”
