The FC Barcelona man reminisced about his legendary day in a Bayern Munich shirt recently in an interview with FourFourTwo.
Lewandowski also had a chance for a sixth goal in that game and, like a true striker, the former Bayern man still rues the missed opportunity. Still…what he did manage was truly legendary.
“Five goals in nine minutes, because of the numbers – five and nine – is some epic thing that will stay with me for the rest of my life,” Lewandowski concluded.
