How much Arsenal will bank in Champions League prize money in January transfer window boost

Arsenal are set to receive a vast financial windfall thanks to their impressive performances in the Champions League so far this season.

Mikel Arteta’s side have collected five wins, one draw and one loss in their seven European fixtures – earning 16 points and an all-but-guaranteed spot in the round of 16.

Wednesday night’s (January 22) dismantling of Croatian champions, Dinamo Zagreb, saw keeper David Raya earn a fifth clean sheet in the competition as the London club’s impressive defensive form continues across the continent.

Only Inter Milan can better Arsenal’s record of conceding just two goals in the competition’s league stage.

But, it has been in front of goal where the Gunners have been failing to fire in recent weeks as Arteta searches for a striker to address a lack of goals from open play.

The Spaniard could be boosted in his hunt by a sizeable financial windfall afforded to him for his side’s performances in the Champions League.
