Barça NewsHansi Flick talks title race, Balde, missed chances after Getafe 1-1 Barcelona

Barcelona’s dream run in 2025 came to an abrupt end as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Getafe last night.

Flick went on to surmise that Barcelona did enough when it came to creating chances and were simply a goal away from snatching a victory.

It was yet another disappointing outing for Barça in La Liga, with the Catalans now extending their woeful tally to just one win in the last eight matches.

Speaking to the media after the game, Barcelona coach Hansi Flick was not too happy with the result but said he is not too worried about the situation right now.

What Flick said after the game

Analysing Barcelona’s performance, Flick admitted that the team should have been more efficient against a defensive team like Getafe.

Flick was also asked about the key teachings the team can gather from today’s match and the subsequent result.

Flick went on to discuss a few key events that transpired during the game, including the racist chants against Alejandro Balde.

The German expressed disappointment over the incident and condemned the act.
