FOX NFL Sunday suffers embarrassing technical glitch during LA firefighters tribute

FOX NFL Sunday experienced some technical difficulties as reporter Jay Glazer attempted to honor over 5,000 local Los Angeles firefighters ahead of Satruday’s Commanders-Lions game

The FOX NFL Sunday team panned to reporter Jay Glazer, on hand with “5,400 firefighters,” ahead of Saturday night’s Washington Commanders- Detroit Lions game

However, Glazer’s microphone was accidentally turned off and he spoke into the cameras on mute for a few seconds before host Curt Menafee opted to cut his segment prematurely.

The FOX NFL Sunday team, featuring Terry Bradshaw, Michael Strahan, Rob Gronkowski, Howie Long, and Jimmy Johnson, ultimately returned to Glazer a few minutes later once the audio difficulties were sorted. Following a moment honoring southern California firefighters—not far from the LA FOX NFL Studio—the veteran FOX reporter continued with his “In/Out” segment, discussing the week’s key injuries.
