Dodgers $80 Million Star Predicted To Betray Los Angeles, Sign With NL Rival

Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Jack Flaherty was a key piece of the Dodgers’ 2024 World Series championship. But after half a season with the team, his time in Los Angeles may be coming to a close.

The Dodgers are set to return Shohei Ohtani and Dustin May from injury while also signing Blake Snell to round out the starting pitching staff. This just doesn’t leave room for Flaherty to sign his $80 million deal with the Dodgers.

FanSided’s Christopher Kline recently predicted the Dodgers’ star could betray Los Angeles and sign with the Atlanta Braves instead. The Braves are looking to pick up the broken pieces of a starting rotation that’s lost Max Fried and Charlie Morton this winter.

The Braves would tremendously benefit from Flaherty’s services. Atlanta has a few top-end starters, but that’s it. Losing Fried and Morton is going to crush the Braves’ chances of making a run at a World Series unless they replace the two starters with equal or better options.
