Mandatory Credit: Kim Klement Neitzel-Imagn ImagesJust a week ago, Bucs fans were thanking the Washington Commanders for breathing life into their playoff hopes and dreams. Fast forward a week’s time, and now they are back to thinking the worst of each other as the two teams are set for a playoff matchup.

Storylines will be plenty in a regular season rematch, but what do the early betting odds tell us about the matchup between the Bucs and Commanders?

Their first matchup came all the way back in Week 1 when the Bucs spoiled the debut of Jayden Daniels. They won by a whopping 37-20 as Baker Mayfield passed for four touchdowns, and Jayden Daniels had a rough welcome to the NFL week.

BetMGM has the Bucs favored by 3 points early on, while the over/under is set at 50.5. It will be interesting to see how much faith the market has in either team, as x-factors are plenty.

In their expected playoff matchup, the Bucs are now the third seed to the Commander’s sixth seed, and the odds are that things will be closer than they were in September.
