We have to manage a lot of the players. Some of them are probably not going to be fit tomorrow, some of them are still doubts. We still have 24 hours to make those decisions and hopefully they’re the right ones.
It is what it is. We have to accept the challenge, and there are opportunities for other players (that come). In the ideal scenario, we are in charge of those decisions because it (injuries) is forcing us to make them for the wrong reasons. But we need to accept the reality and move forward.
I’m really happy with the way we are playing. The good thing is it’s not conditioning the team in such a way where we have to become a different team. I’m very pleased with that, the way the team is adapting and the way players are making the effort to play in different positions. Hopefully the ideal situation will come up very soon
We want to create more from every angle. From set pieces as well we could have created more. We created and should have scored another two. So always try to evolve and be better.
Yeah and the more I watch it to concede what we conceded and how the hell we managed to draw that game. So we will adapt and keep our heads up. It was very emotional as well because scoring the goal at the end and having it disallowed was tough. We have to move. Every three days is an opportunity and we have to keep going.
We have to do a lot of things that we do in the Premier League. The tendency is to look at the Champions League it’s something else. How big is the Premier League? How big is the Champions League? The tendency is to say the Premier League is this size and the Champions League is this size. We face incredibly difficult opposition every week. That’s the thing. So when we face an incredibly good team like Monaco who is doing really well we are so used to it because we play opposition like that every week. It’s learning about certain things and certain scenarios that are different because Champions League is different in certain ways. But there are lots of similarities where we have to compete like we do in the Premier League day in day out.
